Rust's original GM, Kane Morgan, was taken from this world suddenly on Friday December 8, 2023 in a motor vehicle accident along highway 97 on his way home from work in Oliver.

He is survived by his wife and two young children - Jaki, Cassius and Walker. And as his family knows, Kane is remembered by his incredible spirit, hospitality, sincerity, and humor—qualities that set him apart. Kane was extraordinary in every aspect of his life. His sharp intellect and eloquence, his deep devotion to both his immediate and extended family, and his unwavering passion for living life to the fullest left a profound impact on everyone around him.
